"WOOO
love it
it gives me a real hope this it's going to be a good summer xP
and you wanted feed back sooo ummm how about?
I like how you gave it a hand made feel with all the cardboard and the little stop animation things and you made it personal by using friends and it came across in the film and ummm can't really think of much more xP what good feed back and it was a very appropriate timing i feel as well xD

facebook feedback from friends was on a less technical wavelength but just as good:
This is feed back from class mates:
After receiving feedback from friends and such, if I could do the video I would change a few things, such as, I would use more shots of people and such and take out some of the stop motion and such that was repeated as that seemed to be the main fault within my video. If I could I would do something with the light but as my music video, was shot outside and I did not have any was to get extra light it had to do. I would also possibly add in more people holding signs, as well to carry on the theme for longer throughout my video.

Evaluation question 1.
- In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?
Within my media product there are both similarities and differences to other media products of the same genre. For example I have taken inspiration for the music video of Bob Dylan’s song “Subterranean Homesick Blues” in his video he uses signs to show the lyrics instead of singing them, I have used this idea in my music video, which goes with the convention of that specific specimen, but I have added to my idea, instead of just using one person in a mid angle shot through out I have used many different people and also added just the lyrics and pictures to animate what is being sung. Unlike up to date video like “Love the way you Lie” by Eminem feat. Rhianna in theirs they use special effect for the fire and such, which I have not. Special effect would not of enhanced anything within my video seeming as my video is supposed to be simplistic and others such as that one are not.
Also now a days most music videos are just in colour, and some rarely are in black and white. In my video I have used both for example when the stop motion comes up saying “Here comes the sun” I have made the footage black and white to get a desired retro effect, which comes with stop motion. I then have made sure that most of the other shot are bright and sunny as the song is about the passing of time and the return of the sun.
Also most music videos have a consistence in the background of it being night or day, but with mine I wanted the Audience to be able to see clearly that there is a passing of time which is why I have used both footage where there is snow and no snow.
My music video uses forms of real media production that are up to date, but also challenge them by adding elements that make it seem old fashioned.

Creating the Digi-pack
Just some proof that I can use Photoshop and create digi-packs.
As you can see I am in the middle of creating the back of my digi-pack and making it as realistic as possible... I have looked at other covers and backs of dig-pack to give me ideas... I have added the necessary information at the bottom, and I have also added another song title to the track list so it could be easily understood that that was the track list. these are a couple of the digi-pack lists I looked at.

Awesome work and handmade designing, your frame work goes well with the whoe concept and your timing of the words match that of the song which is makes the video work, this is the positive feedback cant see any problem with the actual video but the natural lighting that u used should show a bit more lighting by opening the lens a bit but i guess that is the fault of the shitty Gordonstoun camera LOL Miss you guys a lot 10/10 good work put a smile to my face
